Boston Pride produces events to promote inclusivity, equality, respect, and awareness. Their mission is fostering diversity, unity, visibility, and dignity through education, communication, and advocacy by building and strengthening community connections. 

I chair the annual Boston Pride Festival, one of the organization’s flagship events. In 2019, over 150k LGBTQ+ community members and allies attended the event. We provide a free concert featuring a diverse slate of local and national performers and host over 150 exhibitors. These include small and large LGBTQ+ non-profits that provide health, growth, education, and diversity services to our community.

I manage the eight-month planning process of the Festival and day-of operations. This includes planning logistics, permitting with the City of Boston, registering vendors, and organizing more than 70 volunteers.
