I’m a technologist at The Washington Post and a community organizer from Colorado, currently based in Washington, DC. I design and build systems that support journalism—scalable infrastructure for content delivery, personalized communication, and newsroom-facing tools that integrate emerging technologies like AI. My work focuses on improving editorial workflows and reader engagement through thoughtful, high-impact engineering.

I believe that when applied with care, new technologies can amplify an organization’s mission and create real societal value. At The Post, I’ve led initiatives to reimagine email infrastructure, integrate AI into newsroom tools, and develop department-wide engineering standards. My goal is to build tools that help journalists work smarter—and help readers stay informed.

Outside of technology, I’m passionate about public service and social justice. From 2017 to 2020, I chaired New England’s largest LGBTQ+ festival and served as an editor for the Boston Pride Guide, an annual print and online magazine covering LGBTQ+ life and issues. Both were produced by all-volunteer teams committed to inclusive, community-driven storytelling.
